Looks like rain, rain and more rain for the Grand Final tomorrow here in old Melbourne town.
I am one of the fortunate people whose father put his name down when I was born to be a member of the Melbourne Cricket Club which entitles me to a ticket to the Grand Final.

I’ve seen some wonderful Grand Finals in my time including the 1963 Grand Final which Geelong won and the 1966 Grand Final which St. Kilda won. This 2009 Grand Final tomorrow should be a beauty and I hope it rivals the 1989 Grand Final which is the best I’ve seen. (What happened to those 20 years.)
Anyway, enough about footy. Dalena tells me, “It’s Been Another Big Week In Real Estate’ back at the “coal face’ at De Freitas & Ryan. Some of our reps have had multiple sales this week and it appears September will be one of the best months we’ve ever had.
Melita, Jason and Samantha have been exceptionally busy again this week while Nuno has been holidaying with the crocodiles up in Broome.
I’m hoping to spend some time checking out the Real Estate scene over here as it’s all part of continuing to “raise the bar’ at De Freitas & Ryan.
Peter tells me he’s been madly listing businesses For Sale and it appears all the hard work is starting to pay off already.
On Sunday, I’m off on a “Sojourn’ with my old mate, K.G and his beautiful wife, Linda.
Kerry McGorlick (K.G) has just retired as a Real Estate Agent after more than 40 years in the business. He ran several successful businesses in Melbourne and in my opinion had no pier in Real Estate.
I’ve sailed thousands of ocean miles with K.G and now he and Linda have just built the beautiful fifty two foot Sojourn and are about to head off on a circumnavigation of Australia.
Hopefully I can get a ride somewhere along the way for old time’s sake and maybe we can get him to run one of our sales meetings when he’s passing through Freo.
I’ve been missing out on all the action this week at work however, I’ll be raring to go when I get back and ensuring that we have, “Another Big Week In Real Estate’ to kick off October.
I’ve got to go as my beautiful daughter is taking her dad out for dinner.
Catch you again next week.
